ABOUT LIVE THE WILD
Hello, my name is Emma and I have a passion for life, adventure and cake!

I want to share my experience, my enthusiasm and my love of Scotland with those eager to explore and so with that in mind, ‘Live the Wild’ was born.

ABOUT ME

From wild swimming in ice cold lochs to climbing some of the highest mountains in Scotland - there is nothing that makes me feel more alive than connecting with the wild and enjoying the peace and clarity of mind it gives me.
I grew up on the West Coast of Scotland, in a wee village called Rhu. We moved to England as a family when I was 9 but I knew that my heart remained here and so, as soon as I was old enough to fly the nest, I returned home to Glasgow and have been here ever since.

I’ve spent years exploring the wilds of our country – I’m a member of Mountaineering Scotland and have climbed over 70 Munros: a collection of the highest peaks in Scotland.

I have traversed the thrilling and spectacular Aonach Eagach – the narrowest ridge on the Scottish mainland; summited Ben Nevis by scrambling the Càrn Mòr Dearg Arête; swum in gushing waterfalls and frozen lochs; wild camped by the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond and hiked the 96 miles from Glasgow to Fort William along the world famous West Highland Way.

Come join me. Wild adventure awaits.
